A short biography of two other persons and me. My name is Amado Manriquez, I became interested in Art as I stared drawing. For me art is the way I express my Self, it is also beautiful, and interesting. I don?t care how People judge me of my art it?s the way I express my self. I have chosen two artists; they are Duane L. Carter and chill I will star with chill this was his nick mane. He was born In January 7 1912- 1988 at Westfield New Jersey. Attended public school in Westfield. When he was young The police caught him for breaking into a house. In Westfield high school, he became the art editor for the Weathervane, and drew many cartoons. He graduated in 1929 and attended Colgate University for a year. Then he switch to Pennsylvania and then after he attended Grand Central school in New York City. His dream was to work for the New York Magazine. It came true and worked there to his death, in 1988. He drew over 1,300 cartoons.This Duane L. Carter, he loved to draw in a very detail way. His Father provided him private lessons when hi was ten. He Also played a role of photographer in the U.S. Air Force. He Was a major artist in high school and in collage. This man was
