It is no coincidence that exercises positively influence people. Exercises are great for many things: they reduce weight and keep one fit, they reduce stress and normalize blood pressure, and, most importantly, they slow down the aging process. One can determine whether someone exercises just by looking at that person. People who exercise a lot look better: they are healthier and fitter. Also, they feel much better both physically and mentally. If one knows that he/she is healthy and has a good body, he/she also feel more self-confident and project a better image of themselves.
Those who do not exercise, on the other hand, are more open to stress. It is interesting that lack of exercise can lead to stress, and sufficient amount of stress can lead out of stress. If a person is under a great amount of stress, there is a way of reducing the negative consequences. It can be done by vigorous exercises, which are a good anti-stress tool. Endurance exercises include walking, running, bicycling, swimming, rowing, and other activities. In fact, endurance exercises are eustress they are good stress. When under other types of stress, people who exercise regularly stay healthier than those who do not exercise. People who exercise about 3-4 times a week at least for 20-30 minutes reduce health risks (especially for heart and lungs).
To tell exercises are eustresses or not, one needs to take pulse. A method for keeping eustress from going sour is the talking test. If a person feels himself/herself becoming short of breath, they should see if they could talk comfortably while exercising. If they can, the level of exercise is right for them. If not, they need to slow down. Many people are put off physical activity because they believe that only vigorous exercise or playing sport counts as healthy activity.
But, in fact, substantial health benefits can be achieved from regular activity without the need for special equipment, sporting ability or getting very hot and sweaty. There is now strong scientific evidence that moderate intensity physical activity equivalent to brisk walking for 30 minutes per day on most days of the week is enough to bring about real benefits in terms of promoting health and preventing illnesses. Regular activity can also improve the way people look and feel. In combination with a balanced diet, regular activity can help to maintain a healthy weight. The key to keeping up with a resolution to get fit for people who exercise is finding an activity, or range of activities, that they enjoy. Not everyone sees exercise as fun, and doing something one finds boring just because it is good for him/her is very difficult to sustain.
There are things that exercising people do to make their physical activities more enjoyable. They, for example, try out new sports or activities until they find something they like. When they find such an activity, they should exercise with a friend, at a pace that still allows them to talk. Activities that one can do with a family or with friends may help with motivation. Perhaps, people who do not exercise should try activities to music, such as dance or aerobics, and make sure they vary their activity a little so they do not get bored. It always motivates to exercise in beautiful scenery, such as on a beach or in a park.
Maybe, it is worth buying some new exercise clothes that they like wearing and feel good in. The first association with exercises that come to most peoples minds is reduction of weight and staying fit. It is amazing how beautifully exercising can shape bodies. It is not only nice to look at people who exercise, but it is even better to be one of them, and not just because of weight control and proper muscle shape. Exercising also reduced health risks, leads out of crisis situation, makes people more organized and self-confident, gives them control over their lives. Exercising is good for slowing down the aging process, for preserving youth physically and mentally.
If everybody took at least 30 minutes a day of his/her time daily and devoted them to exercises, there would many more smiley, happy faces..
