Human Nature: Good or Evil? Many things can be said about the gallons of blood, miles of entrails and seemingly endless array of bones, muscles and other fascinating odds and ends that we call our human bodies. For instance, as you break down the body into different categories each part can be examined endlessly. Such can be said about a very intricate part of the body. This is the most important part and without it the rest of the body would have no direct, this part is the brain.
The brain contains many chambers, ones that trigger memories, hunger, sexual arousal, and so forth. However, there is one part of the brain that is rather ambiguous to human being. This section of the brain is where we get our instant reactions to act how we do. This isn’t as simple as it seems though. Do we act kindly and well natured by instinct? People like Mahatma Gandhi, and Mother Theresa would like to thinks so. Or do we act in a negative, more primitive and bloodthirsty way, like Adolph Hitler, or Ted Bundy.
I feel that human nature is more evil than good, because of the examples that people like the ones I mentioned have acted, by our primitive urges that we have inherited from our Neanderthal fore-fathers, and by our instinct to protect ourselves over all others. Adolph Hitler, almost single handedly, killed off hundreds of thousands of Jews, and so-called imperfect people in Germany during the 1940 s. Why did he do this? Human Nature. He didn’t just hate people for no reason; he had a burning inside him, a burning for a more perfect Germany (in his eyes).
His human nature told him to lead, to be strong and sway the German majority his way, and I must say good or evil he was a very strong and powerful leader. Some would argue that past experience had molded him to hate the imperfect people, however there is much proof that it was beyond just life experiences. Human nature, not life occurrences, drove him to destroy those inferior and made him the twist leader he is now famed to be. Hitler is perfect example of the evil and uncaring human nature that dwells in us all. Before you ask you ” re self if human nature is good or evil I pray you, answer these questions first; how did cave men and primitive society survive? How did the human race surpass all other life forms on earth to be the top of the food chain? How did the United States become its own county? How was the west won? If your answer was by good natured negotiation your DEAD wrong. The correct answer: killing.
Yes the cave men killed the animals to eat and rule supreme, the colonists killed the British for independence, and the west was won by killing Indians and their life source, the buffalo. Evil human nature has driven people to kill, and killing has become a way of establishing dominance. For instance, the female black widow kills her mate after sex, because she is establishing superiority and everyone knows that black widows are scary. Killing is definitely no what the bible calls good, however it did get society to where it is now… another reason why human nature is indeed… EVIL.
As you now know, killing establishes dominance and killing is evil. Now we will learn another lesson in life. Another Pop-Quiz, answer these: Whom do you care about most in life? Whose life means the most to you? Whose needs do you take care of first? If you said me to all of these questions, you ” re a human being. It is human nature to care about your own well-being over everyone else’s. In a fight you don’t stop to wonder if the other person if okay, you just keep punching. This is because of our inherent sense of self-defense and a temporary loss of control over your common courtesy and decency.
In the fight you want to win, your brain goes back to a more primitive and ape-like era when the only way to survive was to fight for yourself. Our brains go to that time when winning is everything and losing is death, so we only have one choice: win. Although some people do care for others their top priority is their selves, this is why we are indeed very evil on the inside. After examining demented people like Adolph Hitler, our inherent urge to kill and be on top, and our over caring and over protection for our selves proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that human nature is truly evil at heart. I think that everyone should look inside them selves and go back to their primitive nature. Pull that loincloth from your closet and challenge your neighbor for his home and family in a one on one, free-for-all, no-holds-barred death match.
If we were all in touch with the evil with in, this world would be a lot less angry and a lot more violent. What does violence have to do with human nature? I’m not sure, but if you try to tell me this makes no sense Ill but on my tiger skin loincloth and beat you to death, because my human nature tells me to do so. The End?
