Modernization has thrown up yet few more jobs suited more for women namely stenographer and secretarial work. 4. Women have taken up professions in a big way. They are very successful women lawyers, doctors and entrepreneurs. Their contribution in the service of the nation is in no way any less than that of men. They have been doing well in IFS, IAS and IPS. Their performances have earned them a right to be working women. There is no sphere of activity in human life where women have not provided themselves equal to men. Even in armed forces they have made their presence.
